Payment and Cancellation Policy

Functional For Life offers 12-week health and wellness programs, payments are made in advance of sessions in either 12 weekly payments, two instalments, upfront payment or block session options. (If clients require special conditions such as
fortnightly payments this can be arranged with FFL).

The direct debit automatically terminates after 12 weeks, this ensures that if any sessions are missed due to illness or unforeseen circumstances during the 12-week term they can be caught up at the end of the program before commencing on a new debit. Debits do not need to be adjusted week to week.

All payments are non-refundable for any reason including but not limited to illness (without medical certificate), relocation (Transfers to online training allowed) or changes in mind. All sessions must be used within 16 weeks of purchase date or
they will be forfeited, this excludes any suspensions communicated with Functional For Life.

At the end of the 12-week program the account can be cancelled at any time through notifying management via email or phone. Unless otherwise advised Functional For Life will automatically restart The Client’s debit for another 12 weeks
once all sessions have been completed or the 16 week use period is reached (Whichever comes first).

If The Client is going away on holidays or needs to take a break from training for a short period, the account can be placed on suspension by notifying management via phone or email in advance. The missed sessions will be added to the back end of the scheduled payments to ensure completion of the 12-week program.

4 hours’ notice is required to cancel sessions without the session being deducted. Should The Client cancel with more than 4 hours’ notice The Trainer will try and arrange a catch-up session within that respective week or the following, if this
cannot be arranged the session will be added to the end of the program. If The Trainer cancels a session the missed session is credited to the account to be
used at a future date.

Failed Payment Policy

A Failed Payment (Failed Transaction) refers to a Direct Debit transaction that is processed by Functional For Life but not accepted or authorised by The Client’s financial institution, and in turn no payment is received.

A Failed Transaction includes chargebacks, reversals, failed payments due to insufficient funds and any other disrupted or disputed payment. Should a Failed Payment occur, The Client will be charged a Failed Payment fee as
per Ezypay’s Customer Terms and Conditions. Outlined in clauses 22 to 25 via the link provided.

 

Late Policy

If The Client is late to a session the session will finish at the original scheduled time. If The Trainer is late to a session, it will be extended by the duration The Trainer is late, If this cannot be done on that particular day this time will be added to a session in future.

Operations Policy

The Trainer will be assigned to The Client by Functional For Life PT and is subject to change at any time. Clients may request a new trainer and Functional For Life PT will make every effort to accommodate if circumstances allow. In the event that a trainer engages in unauthorised private solicitation of a client, the client shall inform Functional For Life management immediately. The client shall then be entitled to a new trainer and one complimentary session. Should the client engage in unauthorised solicitation of the trainer or engage in independent training outside of Functional For Life, Functional For Life shall have the right to immediately debit the full payment for services (equivalent to the cost of the 12 week package) from the client, and any prior payments or credits shall be forfeited, unless the client chooses to use these credits with a new trainer. The client agrees to fully cooperate and participate in any legal proceedings that may be brought against the trainer.

 

Clothing and Equipment Policy

Appropriate workout clothing should be worn at all times. The Client must ensure bring a towel and water bottle to all sessions. Due to Covid-19 it is preferred that the client provides their own exercise mat. The Trainer will provide relevant equipment related to the sessions; The Client is able to bring personal equipment to training sessions to be used at the discretion of The Trainer if deemed appropriate.

Indemnity Policy

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Functional For Life PT PTY LTD and its Trainer(s) for any injuries, illnesses, and the like experienced as the result of Client’s Training Sessions. The Client agrees to inform Functional For Life PT and
Trainer of any and all conditions, medical or otherwise, that may affect their ability to participate in Training Sessions.
