Hi, I’m Melissa. I’m based in the south side of Adelaide, working in the southern suburbs from Unley to Morphett Vale.
I’ve been a personal trainer for 18 months. I first got into fitness 15 years ago, and over the years I’ve gotten more and more involved and obsessed with it, so it was a natural progression for me to get some formal education and make it my career. I have been both overweight and underweight and I understand the impact fitness has on your general wellbeing.
I absolutely love training people and seeing their abilities and confidence grow as they progress. I strongly believe that everyone, including older people and particularly women, should get involved in strength-training. I’m also a big advocate for building functional strength through mobility.
Personally I love all types of strength-training, particularly weight-training and calisthenics, and I also enjoy a bit of vinyasa yoga. Recently I’ve discovered a love for running as well.
I really enjoy helping people start their own fitness journey, as well as helping people break through plateaus and discover new and interesting ways to make fitness a part of their life.
